Dear Members and Friends, Happy February! At this year's Annual General Meeting, which was held on Saturday, January 21st, the Member's unanimously voted Michael Davies as President; Tanya Soper, and Janine Russell as Vice Presidents; and Patsy McGowen, and Chris Gunn as Directors. Patsy is a new member to our church, and Chris is an old favorite who is returning to the board. We are all greatly encouraged by their enthusiasm and energy! Our first Board Meeting will be in-person later this month. We thank Irma Cuebas, Leigh Dexter, and Alan Gerber for their past service on the board. Looking forward to seeing you again very soon! It has been so Heart-Warming to see some of our members and friends returning to in-person Sunday Services and Saturday Mediumship Workshops. We hope that many more of you will join us in the coming months. We are very grateful to Tanya for offering her offices in the Hunter's Creek shopping plaza as a temporary meeting place, as we start to regroup in preparation for our move to a permanent home. Our Newly Formed Board have stepped up the search for a building for our church center. Patsy and I have hit the roads this week in the east Kissimmee area and have many more areas to explore including South Orlando, and Celebration. We all feel very confident that we will find the right place soon!

VOICES FROM THE PAST AND PRESENT The Present: Gordon Smith - Medium Gordon Smith (born 6 July 1962) is a British psychic medium; known as the UK's "most accurate" medium. Career as a medium Gordon Smith's career as a medium began at the age of 24, when another medium told him that one day he would be 'on the platform'. This was the start of a 15-year-long study to be a medium. As he used to work as a barber, he is often known (and used to present himself as) The Psychic Barber. He works giving demonstrations, writing books and organising workshops, and until March 2008 wrote a psychic column for the British tabloid The Sunday People. He does not charge for readings. SPIRITUALISM AND SPIRITUALISTS - What we Believe:
Silver Birch, one of the greatest spiritual teachers tells us that our purpose in this life is to do a job. Our job is to work towards putting into practice God's Natural Law, which governs everything on this planet and throughout the universe. This law is unalterable, and God's is law. Religion in one word is service, and our purpose should be to make an end to war, abolish poverty and to hasten the time when God's bounty will spread amongst all the peoples of this world. Such a task to accomplish, when so much in this world is against everything that we desire. Today's world differs from what we have all witnessed growing up, but that doesn't mean that things were perfect then. We have all progressed from one time in our lives to another, each one hopefully will have given us a better understanding of what we need to do to make this planet a better place for all humankind. So, where are we going wrong? we ask ourselves. Today, we live in a world where technology has taken us forward to great heights, and yet there are those who use that knowledge to control others. We have children who are being groomed to do things that will be harmful to themselves and others. Older people are being promised great wealth by unscrupulous people, who not only want their bank details etc. to steal their hard-earned money from them. The job that they originally came to do, has been compromised by greed and the need to be recognized by all as great. What happened to "Service", and what has happened to man's allegiance to the great creative power that we call God? So many people have lost their way in life and need to find the light of truth within themselves. This world is not a perfect place, but we can all improve the lot of mankind by understanding that God's natural laws cannot be tampered with, for they are the same yesterday, today and forever, unchangeable. In order to refine the soul, we must first refine our way of life by exercising our ability to spread God's love in every way, including any difficult circumstances that we encounter every day of our lives. God's love is constant, and that our allegiance to God, the Great Spirit of Life and to His eternal natural laws will help us to create the right direction for us to help the soul when it is ready for the next task in life. The task to reach that level; of consciousness which will fulfil each and every one of us when we leave this life. "You are in the Great Spirit," says Silver Birch and" the Great Spirit is within you," and so we learn that God is in everything, in nature itself, and that there is an unalterable Law which governs everything, and that God is the Law.
